President Donald Trump signed an executive order temporarily suspending all refugee admissions for 120 days in order to improve the vetting process and also imposes a temporary ban for 90 days on refugees that are coming from Iraq, Syria, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen. These countries are being torn apart from ongoing wars with radical Islamic terrorists and are also under the control of very dangerous governments.
“We want to ensure that we are not admitting into our country the very threats our soldiers are fighting overseas,” Trump said. “We only want to admit those into our country who will support our country and love deeply our people.”
The executive order also halts the entry of all refugees trying the enter the United States from Syria “until such time as I have determined that sufficient changes have been made to the USRAP to ensure that admission of Syrian refugees is consistent with the national interest.”
“I hereby proclaim that the entry of nationals of Syria as refugees is detrimental to the interests of the United States,” the order reads. Syria’s ongoing civil war which started back in 2011 continues today, making it one of the most dangerous and destabilized countries in the region.
In 2016 the Obama Administration admitted more than 13,000 Syrian refugees. From 2011 to 2015 his administration only allowed a total of 1,883. “While the Syrian Civil War was raging, ISIS was rising, and refugees were swamping Syria’s neighbors and surging into Europe, the Obama administration let in less than a trickle of refugees. Only in the closing days of his administration did President Obama reverse course — in numbers insufficient to make a dent in the overall crisis, by the way — and now the Democrats have the audacity to tweet out pictures of bleeding Syrian children?,” stated National Review.
Not allowing refugees to enter the country for several months is nothing new. In fact, back in 2011 Barack Obama did the same thing but don’t tell those protesters standing outside of JFK Airport they don’t seem to understand truth and reason.
In 2013, ABC News reported that the United States might have let dozens of terrorists enter the country as refugees. We didn’t need ABC to tell us, we already knew but it is good to know that the media is somewhat on the right track.
“The discovery in 2009 of two al Qaeda-Iraq terrorists living as refugees in Bowling Green, Kentucky — who later admitted in court that they’d attacked U.S. soldiers in Iraq — prompted the bureau to assign hundreds of specialists to an around-the-clock effort aimed at checking its archive of 100,000 improvised explosive devices collected in the war zones, known as IEDs, for other suspected terrorists’ fingerprints,” reported ABC News.
This prompted the State Department in 2011, two years after they knew of this case, to suspend the Iraqi refugee program for six months.
Let’s not forget when Obama discriminated against Christians from Syria. Of the over 13,00 Syrians who were admitted into the United States last year less than 100 of them were Christians.
“Finally, you can read the entire executive order from start to finish, reread it, then read it again, and you will not find a Muslim ban. It’s not there. Nowhere,” stated National Review.
Why don’t Muslims go to other Muslim countries in the region in order to escape the wars in their own countries? Well because most Muslim countries won’t allow them anymore into their country and because some won’t even allow 1 refugee to enter their country.
Katie Hopkins, host of LBC Radio in Britian mentioned something that we should all think about.
“Why is it, help me understand, always help me, why is it we see Muslims running from Muslim countries to Christian countries for a better life?
“Does that not tell us something about Muslims, the religion of Islam? Why is it always Christian countries that need to save Muslim countries, help me understand.”
In an interview with the Huffington Post Franklin Graham spoke about the refugee issue as well as Trump’s executive order saying that “It’s not a biblical command for the country to let everyone in who wants to come, that’s not a Bible issue.”
“We want to love people, we want to be kind to people, we want to be considerate, but we have a country and a country should have order and there are laws that relate to immigration and I think we should follow those laws. Because of the dangers we see today in this world, we need to be very careful.”
The left will protest, they will march, they will scream and hurl insults at everyone that opposes their point of view but one thing that they won’t do is listen to truth and reason.
The Obama Administration banned refugees from Iraq for 6 months two years after finding out that some of the refugees that have been allowed in were terrorists. Trump is temporarily banning refugees until this country can figure out of way to know that the people entering this country will not endanger American civilians.
Obama discriminated against religious minorities from Syria who tried to come to this country as refugees. Trump wants to help religious minorities from these Muslim countries.
The mainstream media can push the Muslim Ban narrative, the protesters can march from New York to the White House but what both of these groups will never do is tell the truth, especially when it goes against their agenda.
Yahoo News reported that President Trump will be issuing a new executive order “after the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals upheld a restraining order on the original travel ban.”
“We’ll be doing things to continue to make our country safe,” Trump pledged at a news conference with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. “It will happen rapidly. We will not allow people into our country who are looking to do harm to our people.”
